Tour #62 River Kwai with Elephant Ride & Bamboo Rafting

Private Tour (min. 1 person) Transfer from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. Visit the war cemetery and “Bridge over the River Kwai”, then continue to Takilen, where you board the local train for a short journey on the most exciting stretch of the “Death Railway”.

Lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the Kwai River. In the afternoon we will visit the Sai Yoke Elephant Camp. Enjoy a one-hour trek on the back of an elephant and then embark on bamboo rafts floating down the river (chances are, that you will get wet – please bring along a change of clothes!).

Return to Bangkok by van/coach. Seat-in-coach tour (min 2 persons)

Depart for Kanchanaburi.
10.00 Arrive at Kanchanaburi, visit to War Museum (Thailand-Burma Railway Centre), War Cemetery and River Kwai Bridge. Continue to an Elephant Camp for 30 minutes elephant riding and bamboo rafting

12.00 Lunch at Local Restaurant.
13.00 Take a ride through history on the Death Railway Train, passing lush forest scenery.
14.20 Continue by air-conditioned vehicle to Bangkok.
18.00 Arrive Bangkok and transfer to hotels.
