Kanchanaburi is best remembered in film as the location for the Bridge on the River Kwai. While that particular bridge is not there now, the infamous "railway to hell" is still there and the museum tour is quite an experience. There is also good golf available for participants and the village of Kanchanaburi offers some local and international restaurants to visit as well. We have added two very nice golf courses to this itinerary and there are optional tours to visit other aspects of this historical area.
